Having been part of the England and Great Britain set up since 2005, Danny Kerry has today announced he has stepped down as coach of the men’s team.

Thierry Weil, the CEO of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) says hockey’s governing body will ‘work with the global hockey community’ to find a more supported method of determining the winners of the annual Hockey Stars Awards.

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has issued a statement surrounding the 2020-21 Hockey Stars Awards after receiving widespread criticism upon announcing the winners. 

England Hockey have today announced the appointment of David Ralph as Head Coach of the Great Britain and England women’s international hockey teams, replacing Mark Hager, who resigned after the Tokyo Olympics.

Great Britain gained revenge for yesterday’s narrow defeat by Germany in the FIH Pro League, picking up a 2-0 win in the return contest on Thursday evening. 

Goals from Anna Toman and Susannah Townsend ensured Mark Hager’s team registered their third win of their Pro League campaign.
