The finals of the England Hockey Women’s Premier Division got into action at the Nottingham Hockey Centre. Champions Surbiton are aiming to retain the title they won last year. East Grinstead stood in their way in the semi final, whilst the other semi-final pitted Hampstead and Westminster against Reading.

Men’s Premier Division Finals Day One Roundup
Today’s the men’s semi-finals took place to determine who’d play off for the title and who’d be battling for bronze in the England Hockey League Men’s Premier Division.
Old Georgians, aiming for their fourth title in a row, took on Oxted – appearing at their first ever finals day. In the second semi-final, Surbiton battled it out with Wimbledon.

For those of us who have taken the time to decipher the system in place to determine the England Hockey League Premier Divison finalists, the contenders for the title have been confirmed.
