Commonwealth Games Women’s Pool B: England 5-0 Malaysia.
England made it two wins from two with a comfortable 5-0 victory over a plucky, if uninspiring Malaysia side in Glasgow today. Goals from Ellie Watton, Giselle Ansley, Sophie Bray, Alex Danson and Hollie Webb were enough to get England the three points in a game which they dominated from start to finish. Continue reading

Commonwealth Games Women’s Pool B: England 2-0 Wales.
England got off to a winning start in their Commonwealth Games Campaign but were made to work hard by a stubborn display from Wales. Goals in each half from Alex Danson and Nicola White were enough to give Danny Kerry’s team the win but their familiar struggle with converting penalty corners reared its head once again as they bagged just one penalty corner goal from ten attempts.
