England sneaked through to the semi finals of the Eurohockey Championships with a hard fought 2-2 draw against Ireland. Two goals each for Tom Carson and Shane O’Donoghue, meant that the sides played out the draw England needed to progress, whilst Ireland will go into the relegation play offs. Continue reading

Eurohockey Championships Women’s Pool B: England 2-1 Scotland.
Goals from Hannah Macleod and Samantha Quek gave England a place in the semi-final of this competition but it was far from a comfortable afternoon for Jason Lee’s side. Scotland’s last win over England came in 1993 however with a bit more composure in front of goal, they could easily have broken that sequence in Belgium today. Continue reading
